New Melania Trump ‘smurfette’ statue raises eyebrows in Slovenia

A life-sized, but not quite life-like, wooden sculpture of Melania Trump has appeared on the outskirts of her Slovenian hometown. American artist Brad Downey hired local folk artist Ales Zupevc to carve the wooden First Lady out of a tree trunk outside the town of Sevnica, where Mrs Trump spent her childhood and youth.
